Critical Mass alternates field studies in Classical Architecture with studio sessions in the methodology of L'Ecole de Beaux Arts every Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm.

Critical Mass in Southern California is free and open to artists, artisans and architects.

Moulding Theory
Arithmetic, Geometric and Harmonic Construction of the Orders
Beaux Arts methodology: i.e. Esquisse, Analytique
Shades and Shadows in Charcoal
Architectural Wash Rendering

While some of these topics would seem to overlap with the paying classes ICAA is offering, we look at this opportunity as an appetite whetter for younger and more casually inclined fellows. Our hope is to introduce these topics in a casual environment that leads some to more serious and possibly ICAA membership.
