A self-diagnosed châteaux addict, award-winning designer, Timothy Corrigan, is a rare individual who acquires properties out of a love of French stones and patrimony rather then a practical need. His passion for the restoration process has ushered him through the personal purchase and renovation of four historical landmarks, each unique in it’s history, architectural style, and set of challenges, and garnered him an award from the French Heritage Society. Join us as Timothy recounts the lively tales of his restorations and how he has mastered the balance of respecting the past while making these grand homes comfortable, welcoming and livable for today.
With offices in Paris and Los Angeles, Timothy Corrigan has been hailed in Architectural Digest as “Today’s Tastemaker” and has been named to most of the design world’s best designer lists, including the AD100, Elle Decor A-List, Robb Report’s Top 40, the Luxe Gold List, 1stdibs 50, and Departures Design Council. He has received numerous honors including the Institute of Classical Architecture So-Cal Legacy Award, The Design Icon Award, and the Star of Design Award. Timothy is the only American designer honored by the French Heritage Society for his restoration of several national landmarks in France.
The firm's work is regularly featured on television and in prestigious publications such as: Elle Décor, The New York Times, Town & Country, Veranda, House Beautiful, Traditional Home, Luxe Interiors + Design, Vanity Fair, Vogue, and The Wall Street Journal. Timothy has designed successful licensed collections with several partners, including Perennials, Schumacher, PFM, Royal Limoges, THG-Paris, Fromental, and Samuel & Sons. He is currently developing a collection of hyde rugs for Kyle Bunting.
His most recent book is The New Elegance: Stylish, Comfortable Rooms for Today, and he is also the author of An Invitation to Château du Grand-Lucé, both published by Rizzoli.
